17 Nov / Eligotech supports New Policy Brief from the European Digital Forum
The European Digital Forum launches Data-Driven Business Models: Powering Startups in the Digital Age, a policy brief that looks at the growing prominence of data-driven business models for European startups and the increasingly important role these startups are playing in gaining global competitive advantage. Based on an extensive interview with Eligotech BV and 19 other leading European startups, the policy brief develops a first-of-its-kind “data value-chain” model, which summarises the types of business strategies emerging in this fast-growing field. It presents a set of ten “smart policy principles” for making Europe an environment where digital startups can thrive.
Eligotech is mentioned as an alternative way for people that can not or don’t want to master advanced technology first, but rather technology should be simplified and tailored to the needs of practitioners. Eligotech offers a Hadoop-based data discovery tool, for people without any prior knowledge of this sophisticated software.
